This beautifully positioned Cortijo in the heart of the Altiplano region of Granada, Andalusia looks out across the Castril Valley to the Sierra Nevadas.

The house sits on a very generous plot accessed by a private driveway approached through the Almond grove and through your personal gate. The property is flanked by mature Cyprees trees for added privacy

There is ample space for parking multiple cars and brick built carport.
​
The exterior is in two parts, to the front of property is a large terrace offering the perfect shelter from those warm Southern Spain summers. There is a built in traditional Spanish BBQ along side a large outdoor dining table. On the opposite side there is ample room for a relaxed informal seating area.

The terrace looks out onto the large inviting tiled swimming pool. The grounds are populated by a mixture of fruit trees such as cherry, fig, walnut, almond, pear and pomegranate and apple.

To the left of the terrace you have access to the homes corral perfect for growing citrus fruits, vegetables or even another seating area. There is also an outside shower for cooling off off before jumping in the pool.

The second part is to the back of the property where you find more fruit trees as well as another terrace covered by the upstairs balcony. In the back corner there is a third seating area looking directly down into the Castril valley with stunning views of winding Castril river unto the beautiful whitewashed mountain town of Castril.

To the side of the house there is access to the garage and a further outbuilding.

Cortijo Internal Images
Step into the world of rustic elegance with these images showcasing cozy large open plan lounge & dining room with its star feature the original open fire place and new wood burner. The dining area leads to a fantastic, stylish new kitchen containing all modern appliances but very tastefully finished with some typical Andalusian style.
Just off the dining area is a generous 3rd bedroom, it contains the show stealing original bread over as its feature piece. It has ample space with a view out to the pool and fruit trees beyond.
The property has a large additional reception room that can be used for a multitude of purposes such as, a formal dining room, yoga space, office and has a door leading to the garden. From there you can explore the laundry room equipped with all modern appliances leading to the garage that has ample storage for bikes, tools, and stacked firewood. Just off the laundry room is a Newley installed guest bathroom with sink, WC and generous walk-in shower,
As you alight the staircase made of local rustic tiles you will notice the light cascading into the down stairs. At the top is the door to the balcony that has far reaching views of the Castril Valley and Sierra Nevada mountains.
